Topanga Creek Cleanup

Help Clean up Topanga Creek
Take part in the annual Topanga Creek Cleanup Project where volunteers clear the creek from debris and garbage to prevent clogging creek pathways and polluting the beach.  The cleanup focuses in areas by PCH and TCB, and also around the center of town.

IT'S A GIRL!
This week National Park Service researchers, together with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, identified a four-week-old mountain lion in the Santa Monica Mountains.  The kitten, dubbed P-54, is an excellent indication that, despite all the stress we've put on their habitat, mountain lions are continuing to reproduce.

An Announcement From Supervisor Sheila Kuehl's Office - Plus Join the Topanga Town Council to Discuss RVs at June 13 Meeting
Last year, approximately 16,000 residents of LA County were living in their cars. On Tuesday, the Board of Supervisors approved a motion by Sheila Kuehl designed to jumpstart the establishment of new safe parking areas throughout the County that will provide security, bathroom facilities, and housing services.

WHEN: Friday, July 27 at 10:00 pm through Monday, July 30 at 5:00 am (TCB will be open for Monday morning travel and access to the coast).
