Meeting to Discuss 2nd Draft Changes to Santa Monica Mountains North Area Plan

SMMNAP

Join the Los Angeles County Department of Regional Planning to Discuss Updates to the Santa Monica Mountains North Area Plan - September 19

The LA County Department of Regional Planning is currently working to update the Santa Monica Mountains North Area Plan. The SMMNAP is a component of the General Plan that provides more focused policy for the regulation of development within the North Area to ensure that land use regulations and environmental protections are applied consistently and effectively. The SMMNAP seeks to provide protections to the area's native wild animals, including mountain lions, and the natural habitats they enjoy.

The Department of Regional Planning has prepared its second draft update of the SMMNAP, and the related Santa Monica Mountains North Area Community Standards District (CSD), and is now hosting a second community meeting to discuss the updates and proposed changes.

Thursday, September 19, 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Las Virgenes Municipal Water District
Calabasas, CA 91302
