Join the Los Angeles County Department of Regional Planning to Discuss Updates to the Santa Monica Mountains North Area Plan - April 3

The LA County Department of Regional Planning is currently working to update the Santa Monica Mountains North Area Plan. The SMMNAP is a component of the General Plan that provides more focused policy for the regulation of development within the North Area to ensure that land use regulations and environmental protections are applied consistently and effectively. The SMMNAP seeks to provide protections to the area's native wild animals, including mountain lions, and the natural habitats they enjoy.

The Department of Regional Planning has prepared a draft update of the SMMNAP, and the related Santa Monica Mountains North Area Community Standards District (CSD), and is now hosting a second community meeting to discuss the updates and proposed changes. (The first meeting was held in October. The second meeting, in November, was postponed due to the Woolsey Fire.)

Wednesday, April 3, 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Topanga Library Meeting Room
122 N. Topanga Canyon Blvd.
Topanga, CA 90290
