The Community Arson Watch is an all-volunteer group serving the Malibu-Lost Hills Sheriff's Station that in fire weather, patrol throughout the mountains looking for fire or fire hazards. Arson Watch is made up of your neighbors, giving up their time to help keep your community safe.

The Disaster Radio Team (DRT) is a group within the Topanga Coalition for Emergency Preparedness (T-CEP) that focuses on communications during an emergency. It is responsible for maintaining a radio communications network and radio room at the EOC and for Red Cross Damage Assessment. During an emergency, the DRT also sends out Top of the Hour Reports available to anyone with an FRS radio.

The Fire Safe Councils in Topanga mobilize the community to protect homes, businesses, and environment from wildfires. Please join! North Topanga Canyon Fire Safe Council (NTC.FSC) includes properties located along and adjacent to Topanga Canyon Blvd.; from Top of Topanga on the north, to Fernwood on the south. West Topanga Canyon Fire Safe Council (WTC.FSC) includes properties located along and adjacent to Old Topanga Canyon Blvd. South Topanga Canyon Fire Safe Council (STC.FSC) includes properties from the Fernwood area south to the ocean.

Neighborhood Network (NN) is a team within Topanga Coalition for Emergency Preparedness (T-CEP), which educates individual neighborhood groups on how to organize and prepare for an emergency. During a disaster, T-CEP provides neighborhood leaders with accurate and up-to-date information directly from the Emergency Operation Center. Topanga Animal Rescue provides local placement services for lost or abandoned domestic animals, and provides immediate medical field triage and treatment for domestic or wild animals. TAR offers spay and neuter clinics, as well as community education programs.

The Topanga Coalition for Emergency Preparedness (T-CEP) is a nonprofit, volunteer organization whose purpose is to help the Topanga community prepare for and cope with disasters such as wildfires, floods, and earthquakes. T-CEP's all-volunteer group mans Topanga's Emergency Operations Center during a disaster.
